Dr. Jonathan A Morris

My husband and I saw Dr. Morris a few times. The appointments were rushingly crazy; he kept wanting to give us our appointments very soon each time after our initial appointment as though there were no other appointments involved. I asked him and his staff repeatedly before scheduling our first appointments and gave our insurance's name and policy to him and his staff before the starting of our first sessions, to be sure our insurance would pay for the services; they both said there would not be a problem. When I asked for the itemized cost of what he would charge our services vs what our insurance would pay before he started, I told him I could only go by what insurance covers which would be 80% and certain Items were not covered according to my policy, he kept deferring and telling me that he would give it to me. Well, I ran out of my patient after he did some of our teeth and no price list was given to us. Before going on any further, I checked with my insurance again. It… turned out most of the charges were not paid by my insurance because Dr. Morris was not in the insurance network. We ended up paying around $ 4000 to have just a few of our teeth filled, cleaned, X-rayed, and examined. I know that I didn't do my home work as I should have. However, this doesn't give him the right to rip me off by being very deceptive to us! My husband and I are in the late 50's and 60's and have three children. Combined all of us, we have been going to many dentists. For all of them, the first thing they did was to check off our insurance to make sure it covered at least some big parts of it and let us know. Dr. Morris and his staff (one), however, repeatedly deceived us to do the work that they know the insurance would not cover.

Dr. Morris is very impressive. He takes a comprehensive approach, listening carefully to patients' concerns and explaining treatment options and procedures clearly and thoroughly. Procedures are done quickly and with minimal discomfort, and the finished work is excellent. The office is extraordinarily clean, and his support staff is always helpful. I rarely write reviews, but I am more than happy to give this dentist the highest recommendation.
