Dr. Jonathan Jay Myers, DO

I saw Dr. Myers when he was at Brooke Army Medical Center. He was a favorite of mine from the start. He listens, is willing to consider treatments besides the ordinary ones, answers your questions, takes his time, and is very personable as well. In short, he is everything a doctor should be. I highly recommend him. I'm just sorry he left the area and I didn't, because I wish I could still go to him.

If you need something done quickly or need follow up via his office staff, this place is not for you. He is kind, caring and bright, but getting appointments and or trying to get ahold of him when you’re not feeling well and have had to go to the hospital, is extremely difficult. His staff buys the phones on voicemail between 4:30-4:45, however, the office closes at 5:00. Several times I’ve just had to drive over and walk in to finally follow up and speak to someone. I heard the receptionist complain when someone called for information at 4:45, because they waited until the end of the day. Just made me sad. If you need information shared or need good follow up, this office may not be for you.

I became very cognizant of Dr. Myers passion for solving complex systems in gastrointestinal systems in the body. He explains to a patient what go amiss and tests thoroughly. His recent studies show is current with new procedures. He is easy to talk with and answers all concerns. I hold him in deep regard; he is an empathetic doctor.
