Dr. Jonathan Zachary Potack, MD

Was sent on an emergency referral from urgent care for immediate testing on severe esophagitis. Instead of a thorough exam I was treated to a lecture about getting a myotomy and not helped at all. Wound up in the emergency room that night treated for severe dehydration and potassium loss because I could not eat or drink anything without severe swallowing pain. Now shopping for new doctor.

Dr. Potack is an excellent doctor and a compassionate person. He takes his job seriously and goes out of his way to serve his patients well. He thoughtfully answers questions. He spends time with his patients and their families. He simply could not be better. I trust him 100 percent.

I can do nothing but praise the level of care and consultation I received from Dr. Potack. He is professional, thorough, reflective in consultation, and provided me with a great examination. His listening during pre-conference to my needs and concerns, his examination, and his follow-up conference were nothing but outstanding. It was an outstanding experience.

Dr. Potack is a brilliant GI doc who is both caring and extremely polite. I have had nothing but first-class interactions with him and his staff. I suspect the negative review posted about him reflects the writer's frustration at not getting the meds he/she wanted in a timely manner!I feel priveledged to have him as my doc!

Dr. Potack is great -- he is smart, and caring.

The staff is disorganized and does not phone in prescriptions on a timely basis (requiring multiple calls). Doc doesn't listen and is pompous and arrogant.
