I have no doubt he is a good surgeon. However….he was antagonistic, rude, and treated me as though I was not an intelligent human being. I asked his assistant if he was having a bad day. She said he tended to be quite direct and abrupt. He came back into the room and asked me what my problem was with him. I told him and he asked if we could “start over”. I said sure. As he walked down the hall he loudly said “she doesn’t have to like me, just know how good I am”. Sorry doctor, in order for me to be confident in your treatment, I have to at least know you value me as a person and patient. I did not feel that at all. His office staff was kind and helpful and treated me how he should have.

This was the first time I met Dr. Rosenfeld. He is one exceptional hand doctor. In the short time that I spent with him, I can tell he really cares, understands, and is very knowledgeable of his profession. And explained what he was going to look at and do. He was very thorough in his examination and what I should be doing to take care of my wounds to my hand and follow up. I'm very fortunate he was able to see me on such short notice. And I highly recommend him to any other's that injured their hand or wrist.

Dr Rosenfeld is so detailed at explaining, and made me very comfortable choosing surgery.

Dr. Rosenfeld seemed fully engaged to my pain issue, asked pertinent questions concerning pain, ability, and function, and perceived another issue with my hand about which I hadn't mentioned. His qualifications are impressive and I was extremely satisfied with the return to pain-free function and mobility and his concern about the condition of my nail.
