I went into Willamette Falls hospital for ankle repair surgery and this guy was my anesthesiologist. During the pre-op there were nearly 10 nurses in my room trying to find a vein to get an IV running. I was crying and hysterical, this crazy doctor in the midst of all of this chaos, looked at me and all of a sudden just jolted me with the nerve block injection at the neck of my upper right peroneal nerve. I now have permanent lifelong nerve damage. It is inoperable and I have to live with being unable to walk, try to shower easily, drive my car without my foot going numb, cannot go to any concerts or outdoor events because I cannot feel my toes my foot and the right calf. My neurologist says after 18 months it is permanent, and after almost 2 years of physical therapy there is no improvement. Being in my early 60s I had no idea that this simple operation and the lack of thought from this anesthesiologist would ruin the rest of my life, or what's left of it. Please please do not go to… this doctor. He should have done the injection when I was calm or already under. I cannot explain the degree of disability that he has cost me
