Dr Jonathan Sembrano was truly a Godsend. After suffering from chronic back pain for 4 years from a spinal deformity, he was the only surgeon who I saw who was willing to help me and FIX the problem. He performed a flawless spine fusion on me with zero complications, and now because of him I have a chance to live a life free of pain. I am so grateful and thankful for Dr. Sembrano for giving me my life back. He is truly my hero. He is the kindest, most gentile and caring doctor/surgeon I have ever met. He goes above and beyond to make his patients feel valued and important. He answers all of your questions thoroughly and makes you feel like your time with him is valued, and not rushed. He is a phenomenal doctor. Thank you Dr. Jonathan Sembrano!

I am alive because of Dr. Sembrano. Let me preface, had it not been for Dr. Sembrano, offering me an alternative through sugical procedures, that he and his team performed on me, I would not have been compelled to live. Thank you and praise God!

Best Surgeon I have ever had the opportunity to meet and be treated by. I've had 3 back operations 1 by a local surgeon who the VA referred his 1st comments to me was how he was going to make my back and body near perfect condition again. And I would have no more pain and no more neurological disorders. Didn't even explain what he was going to do other than that the VA sent me to him and knew my problems and was going to fix them. All puff and smoke from him, after Surgery he was going to come see me in the recovery wing of the surgery center. He told my wife after the surgery that he had to get going because he had several horses he needed to transport to Arizona and had to leave and for me to call for a appointment if things weren't going well. And I tell you that by the end of the day everything that I experienced before was now 10 times worse than before the surgery, I won't get into that part. But as he said that I should make a appt to see him if things weren't going well, so I… did just that. At this appt he then told me I needed to give it a few weeks before things got better and to come back in a month so I did that and a month later he told me the same thing that I needed to give it a few more weeks, and then he stated that he normally only allowed for 2 after surgery visits and the VA would have to make any future appts so when I went to the VA they said they never heard of such a thing that referrals to outside Dr's were by timeframes not the number of appts and I needed to make my own follow up appt. Needless to say never got the opportunity to see this surgeon again, he avoided me like a snake. DR. Sembrano has done my last 2 surgeries and I can honestly say that I would recommend him to anybody and anyone who is in need of back surgery or even if they just want to be seen by a specialist in orthopedic back problems and conditions. Dr Sembrano is by far the best surgeon I have ever had the opportunity to treat me and this goes along with several other non-orthopedic surgeries that I have had. He explains everything down to the stitches he has to put in. He is very concerned with his patients and making sure they are very comfortable mentally wise before he operates, he makes sure that he has you checked over thoroughly before surgery to make sure your capable of tolerating the surgery and recovery period and most of all Dr Sembrano walks you through the entire process of the surgery right before surgery kickoff. And if that's not enough he comes and sees you as soon as you come out of recovery room to see how your doing and tell you what all that happened if anything out of the norm had happened and he comes and sees you every day while you're in the hospital recuperating instead of the ward Dr of the day. My sincerest thank you's go out to Dr Sembrano and his staff.

I had a spinal fusion a year ago under the careful hands of Dr. Sembrano. I have nothing but positive things to say. From the clinic appointments to the surgery, he and his team were a class act.

Dr. Jonthan Sembrano had performed 2 spinal surgeries and I know that I am always in great hands. He is my favorite doctor and his nurse Barb is wonderful. I have never met a nurse so caring and compassionate. I think Nurse Barb and Dr. Sembrano are two amazing people and I feel very lucky that I get to see such a wonderful doctor. His bedside manner is always amazing. He always remembers the names of my family that he has met and always seems to care about my whole health. Mind and body and spirit.

Dr. Sembrano is a caring Dr. only problem is he tends to over book his time I always seem to be waiting long time for him to see me and 1 they actualy had to reschedule me after waiting in the exam room for nearly an hour which was upsetting when i live in pain so much, atleast they gfave me free parking pass for it.

The care and compassion from Dr.Sembrano is wonderful!

I was a patient of Dr. Sembrano's and I must say he was the most kind and caring doctor that I have ever had. I moved back to MN and hope that I can continue to have him care for my medical needs. Outstanding doctor!
