Hygienist are exceptional! I appreciate office working with my dental insurance. Too many dentists are Charletons trying to sell expensive services not needed

Many members of my family and extended family used to use Dr. Silva's predecessor at the Olive facility, a wonderful man. Dr. Silva. I went in to get some fillings. Dr. Silva's equipment was impressive. He seemed to clearly understand my issues. On the surface, he seemed nice, but a hair cocky. Not knowing that my wife was in the waiting room within earshot, he vented about me to the receptionist, wondered about my ability to pay and in general, didn't speak of me very highly. I had determined to switch dentists. When I told my parents about the experience, my Dad related his similar experience and said that he had already booked an appointment with a different dentist. I was irritated that we couldn't seemlessly fall into the new practice, but I also feel sorry for his staff -- what a jolt to have to work for this guy after being employed by one of the nicest dentists ever.

Dental Hygienist x-rayed, removed some minor plack & polished teeth. Never met dentist before. When he came in, he didn't intoduce himself, shake hands, or even know my name. He didn't even look into my mouth to check on the condition of my teeth. He asked the hygienist if they looked ok & then he left. He's a young hot shot guy who had better learn how to handle patients since he bought into an already established practice. The previous dentist was a very caring man. Dr. Silva has big shoes to fill & so far hasn't done well at all.
