Dr. Jonathan Cope Smith, MD

The best doctor we have seen in the past 5 years and we have seen a lot of doctors since my son was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma at the age of 26. Dr. Smith is extremely knowledgeable and very personable. He takes time and explains things to you and is very thorough. He addresses a patients needs and has a plan of action. He is also an incredible surgeon. He performed both the biopsy on his neck and a sinus surgery. I would recommend him to everyone.

Before I saw Dr. Smith I'd been suffering permanent congestion for weeks/months. I saw 4 other doctors prior to that, including 2 walk in clinics, my primary care doctor, and another ENT. One after another, the other doctors continued to put me on steroids, antibiotics and insisted that things would get better if I just gave it more time. Finally, I was able to get into see Dr. Smith who immediately ordered a CT scan to see what was really going on inside my sinuses and what we found was a deep and troublesome infection that required surgery. He did the surgery himself and I have been in good shape since. I also have a better understanding of what is going on inside my sinuses, and how to manage problems before they have a chance to get bad. He is a warm, friendly doctor who is enjoyable to talk to who listens and wants you to feel better. I want to reiterate that I saw 4 other doctors including another ENT who told me that I was "just sick" and would get better soon, before Dr.… Smith actually took a closer look and found the real problem. Great doctor, great ENT, ended my suffering. I'll be posting this review on all the major review sites, because that is how I found him.

I went to see Dr. J. Smith for my thyroid. I was very frightened and he followed up with sonograms, was very comforting and reassuring. It is very difficult to find a Doctor these days that takes the time to treat you as a person. I recommend Dr. Smith without a doubt.

Dr. smith was my surgeon when I had my thyroid removed because I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. From the moment I met him he was so sweet, understanding and most of all compassionate. Dr. Jonathan Smith operated on me in June, 2015 for a tumor in my parotid gland. From the very first office visit he took the time to explain everything about this diagnosis and what the surgery would involve. He listened carefully to all my concerns and answered all my questions. He replaced my fear of this surgery with confidence and trust. I went into the surgery knowing I was in good hands and completely confident having Dr. Smith as my surgeon.
