You can not judge Dr. Snashall based on your entire visit. Him, himself as a physician was extraordinary. If I was guaranteed to have him as my Doc each time I was going through a medical emergency I’d know my life was in good hands! Thanks Doc for your services.

Dr. Snashall is one of the kindest most considerate physicians I've ever encountered. You must be confusing him with someone else. I'd trust my life in his hands any day.

The previous reviews speak for themselves but when you visit an emergency room you don't have a lot of choices. Hopefully someone at St. Joe's is looking at these reviews and taking the appropriate actions. Dr. Snashall is very nice until you ask a question and then his tone and attitude changes immediately....and not for the better! The emergency area would benefit with an improved process to communicate with patients. Numerous times we were informed by staff or the nurses that we would be going for an xray or another test without an explanation of what was determined from the previous test and why a decision was made to proceed further. When you would ask the staff / nurses they would reply "didn't the doctor explain to you" which of course he had not done. Our Pledge to You......Our nursing and provider staff are committed to keeping you informed and as comfortable as possible, and to complete your care as quickly as possible. They should expect the highest level of… service. Well, this is the poster in the waiting area but I believe someone forgot to tell the staff. Most of the nurses / staff walk around like they hate their jobs. They seem miserable and are unfriendly. I would think there would be someone from management there observing the behavior and process and doing what managers are supposed to do and coach and counsel? The one positive was the gentleman that did the registration was very professional and understanding. Unfortunately he is probably the lowest paid person in the area.

What do you want from an EMERGENCY Room physician? He was fun to talk to, which he managed during cleaning, numbing and stapling severe lacerations on my head. I liked the fact that he answered my questions, explaining what he was doing and why. Upon completion, the 3 gashes on my head were closed, disinfected, sealed and bandaged with a minimum of pain . I liked his sense of humor and was pleased with his work. I am having major problems, however trying to understand the reasons his other patients gave him ones on this eval. He certainly doesn't deserve it.

very short tempered. He got very angry when I was asking simple questions about his diagnosis because like many of us, i don't know about all this medical stuff and appreciate understanding what's happening to my body. He sent me home with a lower back pain that I would rate as a 9 out of 10 and would refuse to do any other tests to rule out other problems. the front staff were also very rude! i just can't believe that a doctor can be so nonchalant when their patient is in so much pain.
