Dr. Johnathan Eric Thygeson, MD

Dr. Thygeson has been our special needs son's doctor for several years. Our son is incapable of speaking but Dr. Thygeson's empathy allows him to form a bond with his patient that allows for diagnosis through considerate and careful interaction. He is kind man that truly cares about his patients.

He tried to pressure me to take a medication that was unnecessary, after I said no, also insensitive.

He is great! Has diagnosed and treated my girls for years. He has a great bedside manner and always asks my girls questions to involve them in the process. He also gives me information and answers aby questions I might have as a parent. Love him!

Seems as though he picked the wrong specialty due to lack of knowledge and insecurity when diagnosing. Misdiagnosed my child multiple times before I switched.

He missed a diagnosis of Scarlet Fever which Dr. Don Van Schenck diagnosed correctly the following day.

I cant say in words the greatness this Doctor accomplished with our family it isnt just the diagnosis and medical treatment it is the support and guidance in the tough times that truely shows the greatness in this gentleman. My son is a heart patient and Dr Thygeson was his pediatrician during our most critical times and we were sad to loose him due to moving but without his help we would not have our son today he gave us medical advice care and hope and reassurance when it was hard to find, ANYONE would be lucky to have him treat their children
