Dr. Jonathan Trejo, MD, is a Fellowship Trained Ophthalmologist and Cornea Specialist

Dr. Jonathan Trejo is a Comprehensive Ophthalmologist who has trained in the medical and surgical management of various complex conditions involving the eye. He specializes in cataract, minimally invasive glaucoma and cornea, trauma/emergency reconstruction and medical retina.

Dr. Trejo completed his residency training at the highly esteemed University of Iowa, where he gained excellent experience diagnosing and managing a wide array of conditions that affect people from a variety of backgrounds and socioeconomic status, including farmworkers and people affected by diabetes and cataracts. 

Born and raised in Los Angeles before moving to Berkeley for college and then Seattle for medical school, Dr. Trejo’s dream was to always return and give back to his communities in Southern California, where he grew up. He also has a passion for mentoring students from underprivileged backgrounds …and hopes to inspire students everywhere, especially first-generation college students, to enter the medical field.
