Dr. Jonathan Daniel Trobe, MD

In my visits with Dr. Tribe I have found him to be very knowledgeable, reassuring and personable. He is straightforward while taking the time to make personal contact. He listens. I highly recommend him.

I saw this doctor after spending a year having issues. After a long drive and extremely long wait, he spent a whole 5 minutes with me. Asked me no questions, no exam. Was rude, dismissive, and told me my symptoms were stress induced or completely non existent?! He told me to go home and drink and relax. I’ve never been treated with such inferiority. This type of doctor is the reason women hate going to doctors. If something is wrong with you, it’s because you’re just “stressed” or basically crazy.

I would not recommend consultation with Dr. Trobe. I was referred by my neurologist after loss of vision in my left eye twice with continued blurred vision incidents daily. His office staff and technician was compassionate and down to earth. She took a long history and reviewed my test results, adding them into the computer. This process took 2 hours. I then saw Dr Trobe for less than 5 minutes. He asked why my neurologist sent me to him. He continued to report my symptoms had unknown causes and I should just meditate. I told the technician about being an art therapist where he told me to just do my art. I felt Dr Trobe teached me with a condescending manner a fact, "go on little girl" attitude. He told me it should just go away. I told him this had been going on for months where he said it could be a rare type of migraine but doubt it. Plus he repeated multiple times I was on a lot of medication so he would have maybe suggested a medication but I already took a lot. The technician… gave me tissue as I was crying in frustration of not having answers and apologized as I walked out.

I was nervous about seeing Dr Trobe because his reviews speak so poorly about him He was honest and forth coming about my condition. He did exactly what he said he would do.and explained it fully. I was pleased with the outcome.

First off I wish I would’ve read the reviews before seeing the sky. I would’ve found a different doctor. He was rude arrogant and not up-to-date on his medical knowledge. Has a serious a God complex and thinks he’s all that and a bag of chips when is just a bag. His staff was nice and friendly but he was very rude and dismissive and seemed to think that I should be thanking him for telling me that I don’t have something that I know I do. It’s time for him to retire

This doctor was extremely disrespectful. I asked a simple question regarding why a patient with an earlier appointment was called in before me. He said there was no reason at all and that I can leave if I want to. The receptionist agreed it was rude and sent me to patient relations. Terrible experience. This doctor has no compassion or empathy for his patients.

Dr. Trobe is Very nice n answering all our doubts in detail. We are very Thankful!

This guy spent a whopping 2 minutes with me, did not review the visual fields test his own staff administered, clearly was annoyed to have my case, and wasn’t remotely interested. He explained nothing. At least the staff was nice.

Dr. Traube, who came highly recommended, was the epitome of an elite snob. He had NO compassion, a complete lack of humor, no consideration for the patient and was of NO help whatsoever. A complete waste of time! This got may have all the credentials and have written books but he should no longer be practicing. Tell me, why is a guy stop in medical practice after are 75 having practice for 50 years? He doesn't need the money. He is a miserable man and must have no life outside the doctor's office. DO NOT GO SEE THIS MAN!!!

Dr. Trobe is the worst doctor that I have ever seen in my life. He told me that my pain was all in my head and that I needed to see a psychotherapist. He was rude and dismissive, and talked entirely to my mother instead of to me. I would very highly recommend seeing another doctor if you want to get answers and be treated with respect.
