Dr. Jonathan Andrew Turoff, MD

Dr Turoff was the only neuro that was able to help me manage headaches. I would recommend him to anyone.

This review is for you, Mr.Turoff . I have read your reviews and agree with all except your 5 star ratings,I get a picture in my head of a one finger typist doing the two reviews.When a DR. takes the Hippocratic oath, they are saying that they will do no harm to there patients .After the visit to your office my wife and I both felt worse. When I first started this review you will noticed that I said Mr Turoff instead fo DR.Turoff.

I chose Dr Turoff because of location. But this is how our visit goes "every time". I sit down, he is in front of his computer. He asks if there are any changes to my condition. There is typically none or very little change. His evaluation of me is about 2 minutes when he will straighten one leg to determine spacisity level. Then not looking at me but his computer he "one finger" types as he talks. When I ask a question he still doesn't look at me but continues to type but it's the EXACT same thing as every previous visit. I bet if anyone would read my chart it would be the exact same note on each visit just different dates. At the end he asks if I need a refill (that's the only reason I'm there). He never gives me advice on what to do or what I can do to help improve. It's just same old, same old thing. Very boring and uninformative. Wish I could find a different neurologist in the area that would show some care or consideration.

This was my time to meet Dr. Turnoff. I was satisfied with his way of handling my concerns. He would not listen to me and kept telling me what he needs. I will not go back to him or recommend his services

does not answer questions so you can understand him then tells you I just went over that and keeps going I'm still not sure about whats going on in my head. Hey by the way 5-10 mins just don't get for people like me that has a hard time understanding things.So keep on typing it don't help me

I had visited Dr. Turoff when he was in Tennessee. My wife is my caregiver and goes everywhere with me. He sent me to get an MRI. I had had previous MRI's and he told me to bring the discs so they could do a comparison.. After the MRI and the results, they had forgot to do the comparison. He got angry and blamed me and my wife for them forgetting. On my last visit he ask me if I needed a refill on my meds. I told him my primary care doctor was good about taking care of that. The next thing he said was "there is nothing more I can do for you, I have other patients waiting". He had diagnosed me with mild cognitive impairment (early alzheimer's) Even though he diagnosed me with it he refused to believe I had it. It has gotten a lot worse since then. So I guess he should have believed his own diagnosis. To make things worse it was almost a hour drive each way.

Poor bedside manners. Did not communicate well.Would not look at me when talking. Had me touch my nose to diagnosis how my condition was.would not refill my seizure med till I seen him but I couldn't get an appointment for 17 days.grossly over charged for a 15 min meeting.ordered an ambulatory EEG that insurance wouldn't pay for because a standard EEG should have been done first. Told him about it and he said Oh Ya I learned from that one! Now I am still paying for that out of my own pocket! !!

I felt this doctor was a bit distracted when speaking with me and addressed the major portion of my visit speaking to a colleague whom was shadowing him, while I was very much in view...don't care to be ignored when talking about my symptoms, test results, etc. Have visited this doctor only twice and I believe I will try again and hopefully have a different experience, at which time I will submit another review with my name...

Very happy with Dr. Turoff and friendliness and wonderful care received. Great doctor-patient relationship. Very friendly office staff.
