Dr. Jonathan Wideroff, MD

While searching for a surgeon and asking for recommendations from other physicians the name of Dr. Wideroff kept coming up. I interviewed two other surgeons before Dr Wideroff, both claimed that I had a double hernia and the surgery would be done laparoscopically . After my examination with Dr Wideroff, he confirmed that I had a hernia only on one side and since it was a reoccurring hernia that laparoscopic surgery may not be the right choice, with conventional surgery more appropriate. Just as he suspected, only one hernia and a more complex surgery. I am 100% satisfied with my surgery, recovery and my post-op . He is professional,caring and talented. His dedication to his profession admirable. He never rushes you, listening to all your concerns and most eloquently explains everything. Great beside manor, he exudes confidence and in certain circles he is affectionately dubbed the hernia king.... long live the king. You are in expert hands if you choose Dr. Wideroff as your… surgeon

I had written a negative review of Dr Wideroff in the past. I would like to detract that statement. He is an excellent surgeon and I highly recommend him. He is very skilled at all surgeries and he takes the time to explain your situation. He and his staff are great.
