Dr. Jonathan Eric Yager, MD

It doesn't matter how great a doctor is, if you cannot get through the office to have a returned call in a timely manner....(usually, it doesn't happen), then there is a problem. I do not fault Dr. Yaegar but the communication at the front desk. It is a very unwieldy telephone system and the hours at the front desk are limited. Today's call was placed at 11:50 a.m.....lunch break. Yesterday at 4:30 p.m., no one answers phone. Banker's hours for the front desk staff? Recorded messages when there is a health/heart concern ...(perhaps not warranting 911, but troubling enough to the patient) are rarely responded to by someone in the office, then something is wrong.

The staff are the worst, billed me an extravagant amount "by mistake" and did not correct it! Yager spent 7 minutes after a 30 min wait to tell me that the fact that I have so much trouble breathing is due to my mild heart disease and valve issues. He then walked out of the room and onto another patient. No questions answered. Nothing discussed. I just waited, paid my copay, then left.

Just would like to thank Dr Yaeger and staff for the excellent care I received while I was a patient at Reston hospital. Driving from ny I had an acute MI and Dr Yaeger was assigned to me. I would honestly drive back to VA as the care in CCU was great and Dr Yaeger doesn't pull punches and great Dr. Thanks again for everything!
