Dr. Jonathan Eric Zeichner

Dr. Zeichner informed me he was out of network AFTER he provided his "consultation" (was referred by another dentist who said Dr. Z was in-network). As such, I had to pay his exorbitant out of network prices ($275 for a "consultation"). Dr. Zeichner said he does not deal with my insurance as he was "tired of dealing with the Philippines" (not sure what that racist comment actually meant). Regardless, I tried to resolve things with him on the phone but he was (i) rude, (ii) cut me off, (iii) beyond unprofessional and (iv) hung up on me twice. I called back to tell him that his office has the WRONG insurance information and that if he submits a claim that the insurance will reject it (recently found out that Metlife has the wrong zip code on file). His response was "we will not be re-processing your claim, you will send us a check and claim the amount from your insurance". I refused as I want to avoid the post office due to the pandemic. He then said he would send my file to collections… and REFUSED to take my accurate insurance information. AVOID!
