I was very satisfied with Dr. Rim...I had a noisy heart and was sent for an Echo Cardiogram. Dr.Rim Informed me that I had a Mitral Valve Murmur and It should be watched...Dr. Rim was removed and when I had similar problems, his replacement sent me to a Cardiologist who gave me an EKG,& checked for artery blockage several times but no Echo and told me that I was find and to double my activity. He did not give me an Echo. Three week later I collapsed and ended up with everything from, A.Fib, Irregular Heartbeat,Heart failure and a new Mitral Valve. I feel that Had the Cardiologist had followed in Dr. Rims steps and given me an Echo I would not be in the condition that I am today. When the Surgeon checked me over prior to my Mitral valve replacement, he said my valve problem should have been discovered and corrected a long time ago and if so, I wouldn't be in the condition that I am presently in. I also had Rheumatic fever as a child which may be a contributing factor for Mitral… valve failure in later life.
