Oustanding OG physician that tells you like it is. Very experienced and compaasionate.

I rarely give a review. But Dr Bang deserves a medal. He is a no BS kind of physician that is almost impossible to find nowadays. He is a doctor from another era who is hard to find. You want these kind of medical professionals as a part of your life team. My family (amd pretty much the whole neighborhood) goes to him because not only is he a highly skilled, compassionate professional but brings to the table 50 some odd years of experience. You can feel the difference vs a less experienced doctor who tries to max charge your insurance with unecessary tests. His methods are to the point, effective and his bedside manner is like a warm hug every time you visit.

I think he's a pretty good doctor, but it's hard to tell. I went in for a checkup and to get some forms filled out. He had to draw some blood, which he did expertly and without leaving a hematoma. I never got a call about the results, and when I called the office after 2 weeks, I was given runaround. I called back two more times, and they never returned my call. I also showed up during office hours to get my tb test read, and it turned out he had left 2 hours early because "there was nobody in the waiting room." If you don't mind all this nonsense, maybe he's a good doctor....

I never give a review but this time, I feel obliged. STAY AWAY from this place. The place has the worst admin/appointment system and will overbook patients making you wait so long every time. Plus if this were a restaurant, the place would've failed a health/sanitary inspection. So gross. Doctor seemed ok but there's just so many qualified doctors in the neighborhood.

Dr. Bang is the most compassionate person that I have ever met. Not only does he listen to you....he hears what you say. I can go without an appointment, none needed. He never refuses to see a patient when they need him, which means you can just walk in! I would not go to another Doctor even if it was free.

It's like you have to know someone who knows someone to discover Dr. Bang. I went to four doctors prior to him for a proper diagnosis. After a myriad of unnecessary tests, I almost gave up. Luckily, a colleague of mine told me about Dr. Bang. I literally walked into his office and in several minutes he diagnosed me through a simple conversation. I did confirm his assessment with blood tests and other specialists. This guy is the REAL DEAL. Had a little challenge finding his office but it was worth it! Thank you Dr. Bang!!!

Genius? It is quite possible that Dr Bang is a genius. Here's why... We went to a hoard of other "prominent" doctors in New York City and he was the ONLY one who gave us an accurate diagnosis for my daughter's condition. My family and I are not quite sure how he is able to do what he does (initially he just talks with you). From my personal experience, before tests are run, or whatever, he already knows. This is not typical and I found his innate ability to be quite fascinating. It's like he scans your body with his mind. Personally, I feel he has developed a sixth sense over the decades. That's the only conclusions my family and I could come up with.This kind of ability in a professional is extremely hard to find. Personally, if you're concerned about your health and that of your loved ones, I'd say it's worth the trip. We came in from Manhattan but surprisingly, it was an easy ride on the MTA. Note: It is hard to find parking in Park Slope. So when you go, you may want to… Uber or MTA it. We've decided he will be our "go to" physician and perhaps so should you. Make an appointment today and you will see what I am talking about. Thank you Dr Bang for saving my daughter's life. We are forever indebted to you and your staff.

Brilliant doctor, compassionate human being, and an asset to our neighborhood. Not only is he my friend, but, he is my doctor. Go to him. He is simply the best... and I researched them all. This man has been in practice for almost 4 decades (40 freakin years), went to the equivalent of Harvard Medical School in the East, received Western medical training when he came here and is known for diagnosing you through a conversation. Wth?! In short, you get the best of both worlds -- Eastern and Western medical perspectives -- and all you have to do is take the MTA to the train station across the street. Brilliant.
