About Joon H. Lee, DDS 
Dr. Joon Lee is a general dentist located in Cumming, Georgia.  After graduating from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in 1998, he spent the first four years as a dentist in the United States Navy. He earned a certificate in the Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency (AEGD) at the U.S. Naval Dental Center in Okinawa, Japan in 1999. Afterwards, he went to the Fleet Marine Force attached to 3rd Dental Battalion, 11th Dental Company at Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan for the next two years.  He was able to deploy with the 2/7 Marines (Twenty-nine Palms, CA), 1st Marine Air Wing and Combat Service Support Detachment(CSSD)-33 for the Korean Integrated Training Program in 2000 at Pohang, South Korea. His fourth and final year in Navy was at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth, VA. He is currently in the Navy Reserves and holds the rank of Commander.
He was honorably discharged from active duty in 2002 and began his private practice in …Georgia. All general dentistry procedures are performed at the office with referrals to specialists on a case by case basis.  Dr. Lee and his staff emphasize preventative dentistry and education since most dental diseases are preventable.
