Dr. Alger has a great demeanor, very knowledgeable and communicates well.

The doctor was knowledgeable about my condition with up to date information.

So far very good. I now have complete confidence in Dr Alger. First impressions are excellent.

I have been seeing Dr. Alger since January 2024. He diagnosed me with prostate cancer and treated me since then. He also did kidney surgery on me directly after my cyberknife radiology treatment. It has been a long road consistently seeing him every three months. Now, my results are as treated. I moved to Every six months! Great doctor!

Would NOT recommend Alger! Had Aquablation procedure that he said would last 15 years and it lasted 9 months! Horrible experience after surgery as it broke open and bleed and had to go in for catheter AGAIN. Then after 9 months it felt like nothing was ever done. He was rushed during follow up for this and charges extra if he has to spend extra 5 minutes explaining why his procedure didn’t work as said. Steer clear!!

As a male in his mid 30s who had a unique situation that was misdiagnosed by two different urgent cares I GREATLY appreciated Dr. Alger's expertise. He communicated clearly, listened to me explain the issue, and provided what I view as the proper course of action in regards to a prescription to address the issue. I would not hesitate to return to Dr. Alger or recommend him, he was great.

I have been seeing Dr. Alger for more than a year since my completion of the CyberKnife program for prostate cancer. I have have followed his instructions for wellness. I am possibly on the home stretch Dr.Alger’s care. But home stretch is still another six months. Most of my friends had their prostate removed but I was accepted into their Cyberknife program with the assistance of Alger.

I would not recommend the experience I had. Dr. Alger was interrupted multiple times by his cellphone. I felt the appointment was obviously rushed as if he had set a stop watch before coming into the room. At the end of the appointment he asked if I had questions while walking out the door. He was unwilling or unable to answer questions I had. I was really let down by his poor bedside manner especially for someone who works with patients on sensitive and uncomfortable topics. If you are reading this review consider other options!

Thorough, personable, apparently very skilled (happily not yet tested) in robotic surgery. Very to have him on my side.
