Dr. Jordan Michael Sax, MD

My son had a mountain bike accident fracturing and dislocating his right elbow along with mild bilateral knee abrasions. I put his elbow back in place on the mountain. Our chief complaint to the emergency department triage nurse was bike accident with right elbow injury/dislocation. We were put in a patient room. Dr. Sax saw my son focusing on the knee abrasions while missing the elbow injury. He was departing the room stating a nurse would clean and dress the abrasions and my son could then go home. I then had to tell Dr. Sax that we were not there for the knee abrasions. We were there for the chief complaint of the elbow injury. I said my son needed an x-ray. The x-ray showed a fracture that required surgical fixation in the operating room. Unfortunately, I am aware of Dr. Sax's seeing other patients and missing their major diagnoses as well.
