Dr. Sisto has training in minimally invasive surgery, arthroscopy, ilizarov external fixation/deformity correction, total ankle …arthroplasty, and revision surgery amongst a plethora of other procedures.Following completion of his undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin-Superior, Dr. Sisto completed his four-year medical degree at Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University in North Chicago, IL. After medical school, he completed a exhaustive three-year residency with added credential of Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery, at Legacy Health in Portland, OR. In addition, he completed a one-year fellowship in Reconstructive Foot/Ankle and Limb Preservation in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Louisville.Dr. Sisto is passionate about research and teaching evidence-based medicine. He regularly speaks at conferences and has authored novel techniques in foot and ankle trauma surgery. Dr. Sisto continues to be active within the profession and is a member of American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, American Podiatric Medical Association, and American Society of Podiatric Surgeons.In his free time, Dr. Sisto enjoys spending time with his wife, newborn baby, and golden doodle. You can also find him on the golf course routinely or reading about Oregon, Italian, or French wines.
