Dr. Jorge Luis Chaumont, MD

Ol' Jorge must pay someone to shave his face, because there ain't no way he is brave enough to look upon himself. He took an oath to uphold the principals of a healer (had his toes crossed no doubt). He is the worsest medical liscensed practitioner I have come across in 60 years.. Sawbone heartless, darkhearted person I've looked in the eyes. Too bad for his kids to be in the presence of this hunk of human flesh. I hope he lives forever and has a happy healthy existence.

Horrible doctor, untrustworthy, incompetent and paid to say anything insurance companies tell him to do.

Dr. Chaumont is a horrible medical professional. He is strictly an insurance doctor. If you are a work-comp patient, Dr. Chaumont will file reports always in favor of his employers/insurance companies. Chaumont is not an asset to the medical field or patients in need of real pain management help.

Dr. Chaumont is an insurance doctor and used by insurance companies to restrict costs as much as possible and be a spy for them. A typical pain doctor has monthly appointments with urine samples. They schedule as few times as possible to restrict cost and they just recently started urine tests. They don't even check your vitals! What a joke! I have chronic pain and he wouldn't let me have anything stronger than Tramadol which is as effective as Bayer aspirin. His hospital procedures were all failures. I've talked to real pain doctors and they question if he knows what he's doing. I should be medically retired but he is under orders by the insurance company to absolutely not do this.

I just can't believe that this kind of doctors, if you want to call it like that, still in this system. First, he talk to you and tell you everything was going on. Pretty much that you are screwed by workers comp insurance. Then tell you that he will help you and when the last min comes that there's nothing he can't do, he screw you more putting on your paperwork that you have 0 MMI so you can't do anything, knowing that you need surgery . What a scumbag, and this is the nice words I have for him. Please DO NOT TRUST HIM ,AND IF YOU CAN GET OUT OF THERE ,PLEASE DO!

Be very careful with this doctor. He knows everything but does nothing to help you with your medical problem. I would not recommend this dr. To anyone. I would think at one time this doctor was a good doc. But has become so jaded and bitter. I wish him well. But would not use him

He works for Conventry Insurance Company. At no time did I feel that he had my recovery as a goal. He mumbles and mutters when he talking at you. He would give me spinal injections so that he could take a vacations. They pay him $5,000 per injection, which I don't believe. He thought my previous Dr. had screwed something up and he would have to fix on me. By the end of the first visit I was in tears. My second visit I took a friend with me. He bolts out of the room accused me of not giving my first MRI disk to the second MRI personel so that he would have his comparison. Eventhough my case manager required me to take both MRI's disk to this visit. Was he suppose to evaluate them as the Dr.? The good Dr. then tried to bully me that my injury and pain level is only mild. When I asked him what my plan of care was going to be. HE BOLTS OUT THE DOOR STATING "I CAN'T FIX YOU I AM NOT GOD'. Doctors, are suppose to do no harm. Be good at getting people well so that they can return to… work. Being rude and an angry man doesn't help patients to recovery. Won't say what my friend said as she witnessed his tantrums, but you can guess. At this time I have no Doctor for my care as he didn't even refer me to someone else. Maybe my case manager will do something about this since she set the appointment with him and she considered him to be my savior. Injured Nurse

I am appalled at the things that these people have written. I have been a patient of Dr. Chaumont's for over 10 years, and I wouldn't go to anyone else! He diagnosed my horrible upper back pain, has worked endlessly on my medications to find the best combination for me, and has enabled me to keep working in a very intense job, which I wouldn't be able to do otherwise. He also diagnosed a serious thyroid problem, which was part of other problems that I was having, and which my family doctor had missed. He definitely doesn't put up with any whining and is always very straightforward with me, but I appreciate that. He has never pushed drugs or procedures to me, unlike a lot of other doctors I've seen. And he has always been a perfect gentleman and completely appropriate when examining me. I don't believe for one second what that last woman wrote. I can only assume that these people have disability issues, drug issues, workers comp issues, whatever. I would not have the quality of life… that I have without Dr. Chaumont!

I totally agree with the previous person. I too had a bad experience. He was hired by the w/comp ins. co. too. This Dr. talked to me as if I were some kind of drug addict off the street. He too was supplied with all of my records. He told me he wasn't interested in the reports that he wanted to hear from me. Long story short....He asked if I had surgery on my back. I answered well yes, 2 infact with a fusion at 3 levels. His reply was "well they fixed ur back right?" "well then, u shouldn't have any more issues". His remark about my care from up north was that those Drs. were incompetant....at this time I was crying! I have never had anyone talk to me in this manner. He is supposed to be a professional.....shame on him. Now I am in a battle with the w/c ins. co because I refused to have this man treat me....He needs his license revoked!
