I don’t understand the negative comments above as my experience was absolutely excellent. He is highly trained and specialized in procedures that I was not able to get anywhere closer to home. Was worth the time and the effort as I am pretty sure he saved my husband’s life. Yes he is busy and may have to wait so be prepared this is not a routine medical exam practice. We have been very pleased with overall treatment and results.

It seems you have to hit him on a "good " day, or else you get blown off! He does good work but you never know what to expect. Post procedure information is lacking greatly I felt also. And, if he is in one of these apparent "bad" days, you are made to feel like you are in the way and once he even said that I did not have the condition that he had just treated me for by performing an ERCP on me. And My diagnosis is written in stone! So it is quite frustrating that just because of this mood issue, that (in his mind) you could be very ill one minute, with your already well documented condition, and then magically not even have it the next. And this has occurred a couple of times. It is very unsettling, to say the least. I find he does good work, but could definitely use some work in the attitude department. It is very sad indeed. Who knows what trips the trigger in these cases. Certainly not I. And I am not the only one who has seen him and felt this way about this issue. We certainly… don't want to be sick, and I am always pleasant, so I do not understand why this happens. I try chalking it up to him just having a bad day, but to tell you that you suddenly do not even have an illness you have had for a long time and, one that is very well documented, well, it just baffles the mind and adds to the stress and frustration of trying to maintain a solid trusting relationship with your doctor. Very sad!

When we had trouble filling a prescription no one from the office would return calls to us or the pharmacy to help with insurance and a generic prescription. We tried multiple times in the eight weeks prior to surgery and even mentioned in the preop call the trouble we had. We were told that the procedure was still on and came to the facility, got an iv, waited past our appointment time just to be told he wouldn't be doing the procedure because we didn't fill the prescription. While the decision to not have the procedure makes sense - the carelessness of the dr and his staff is ridiculous. We both took off work for this and he couldn't have seemed to care less.
