Dr. Jorge Mario Trujillo, MD

Dr. Trujillo is an outstanding professional with a broad range of talents and experience. Double Board Certified in the medical specialties of Occupational Medicine and Preventive Medicine, he also holds a PhD in Molecular Microbiology, Immunology & Infectious Diseases and a Masters Degree in Public Health with concentration in Health Care Finance and Management, all resulting from over a decade as a distinguished scholar at Johns Hopkins University. He has worked with the business sector at multiple levels, from first-line provider to Clinical Director, to Consultant. His training & experience has also focused on systems approaches to human capital and team-directed problem solving. During the last 10 years, he has contributed to a diversity of corporate decision-making, strategic planning, continuous process improvement, and policy development and implementation, most recently in his role as Corporate Medical Director of Baycare Corporate Health and Medical Director for Employee …Health for the Baycare Health System in the Tampa Bay Area. Dr. Trujillo enjoys working with employees and employers alike and always strives to capitalize on the opportunities to positively impact the recovery from an injury, identify approaches to decrease the risks for work related injuries and to reduce the associated costs. This must be acomplished through an adherence to objectivity, impartiality, and constant professionalism. Dr. Trujillo is also a MROCC-certified MRO.
