I love coming into my appointments to see Dr. Zuniga. His staff is amazing and they always help me out. He is very thorough and explains things when I'm confused. I will highly recommend him.

Dr Zuniga has been my doctor for over 8 years now. Always there when needed and I credit him for saving my life and my leg. When Linda was his nurse I could call his office and speak to her or get a courteous call back. Unfortunately, Linda is no longer there and it is next to impossible getting a response from his staff. In fact, one tie I called as was somehow able to get past the answering machine maze. The person answering the phone actually wanted me to tell her how I was able to bypass the recordings to get a live person. Did I get a callback on my request, no. Haven’t received a response in the last 5 messages. I have been trying to get accurate prescriptions sent to a specific place for my Neurologist. Dr Zuniga is my GP. I need a diagnosis code for the CAT scan as they had sent it with the wrong one. Simple issue but I cannot get a callback. It is a 5 to 6 hour round trip for me to get to his office from my home. I cannot see driving all the way in simply to stand in front… of someone to make sure they do their job. I am hoping Dr Zuniga sees this as I have to believe he has no idea how bad the patient experience is or he would fix it immediately. I don’t want to change Doctors but if I cannot get responses I will have no alternative. Sad, very sad. Tammy Watson

Dr Zuniga has a good communication style and always takes time to answer my questions and explain the treatment plans. Only complaint is that sometimes the wait time at an appointment is too long.

My husband has been in a nursing home facility for 20 days, saw him physically once( on the second week) and once by his nurse practitioner. The NP knew 3 days ahead of time my husband will be discharge, paperwork’s for discharge orders needed for outpatient rehab not filled right, causing us to wait till noon to be discharge. Staff has very hard time contacting them, and NP chewed the nurse out for us contacting her for the discharge.

Dr Zuniga is the most professional Doctor I know. His bedside manners are impecable and I have recommended him to anybody looking for an ID specialist or internist.
