Dr. Jose Antonio Bardelas JR., MD

Dr Bardelas is very knowledgeable , but what good is this without patient communication which is near impossible with him. Takes as little time as possible with patient. Does not even stay in long enough to answer questions. Left with many unanswered questions.

Dr. Bardelas was very thorough when i brought my daughter to see him for many food allergies. The staff was courteous, the wait time was insignificant and most importantly, the comprehensive approach Dr. Bardelas took to making sure my daughter had all she needed before going to college, both in the form of information and treatment options, was comforting.

Both my children have been treated by Dr. Bardelas throughout their childhood and into young adulthood. One for asthma and the other for environmental allergies. They have always felt comfortable and safe within his care and as a nurse/parent, I've always felt his care was best practice and with my child's best interest in mind. I would certainly recommend him as a primary allergist.

I went in because I had been having sever painful itching with just minimal rashes. They proceeded with a standard scratch test and everything came back low/minimal. I told him this had started when I stopped taking Zyrtec. No longer having nasal allergy symptoms, Zyrtec was no longer needed. The withdrawal from Zyrtec has been awful and going on 10 months. After my scratch test they brought me more Zyrtec! When I told him I didn't want to take it ever again, he argued with me that it was perfectly safe. He prescribed me several different antihistamines, nasal sprays and whatnot even after i told him several times i was having NO nasal allergy symptoms. Only skin problems. I begged him to run bloodwork and he did. After my blood work they only called to say they were negative. I've been continuing to figure this out on my own. Dr. Bardelas was no help and hardly listened to a word I said in his office. Definitely a drug pusher. Seemed surprised that I had eliminated my… allergies by changing my diet and exercise. Whoop di do.
