Dr. Jose Antonio Burgos, MD

My visit with Dr. Burgos was great from beginning to end. He listened and has wonderful bedside manners. No many doctors look at you like he does,many doctors out there only look at their computers when the patient is in the room,but not Dr. Burgos. I will recommended him to all my family and friends. Office staff is also very friendly. My overall visit was an A Plus.

Doctor and staff were incredible. Same day appointment, which was just what I needed. Very fortunate to have found such a caring physician. I wouldn’t trust anyone else to care for my family. Thank you Doctor Burgos.

He does not have time for patients, he is always in hurry, every thing relate with follow app is by phone with his medical assistant, he does not like to work on Friday or after 3pm,=.He does not care about the health status of his patient... the just do not affect his bonus. He also has not any medical knowledge , his nurses have more knowledge than the doctor.

He's terrible. An internist who only wants to collect from the patient's insurance. Lies about the policies of DiVita. Has 4 offices: looking for people who have bad kidneys. Doesn't care about other organs in the body

He has no interest in the patient's total health. He probably gets a bonus from DaVita for getting patients on dialysis, because it is a "for profit" company and it is their only interest! Read about DaVita; even the FDA has gone after them

I was appalled at his impatience when asked a few questions. Does not like to be asked why is he choosing this or that treatment.

Terrible Doctor

He performed the most incomplete physical I've ever had or heard of. And he spoke very negatively about poor people and Obamacare. He talked of poor Cubans who had never had insurance coming in and wanting full check ups without symptoms then not paying. He spoke of the office deliberately delaying appointments in the hope that the patient will fail to make his insurance payments before the appointment so they don't have to see him. Burgos refused to see me to explain the results of the lab work I had done--which was gibberish to me. He also told me I had a disease that would end up causing me a lifetime of pain--or rather he had his staff tell me over the phone--and refused to see me to discuss it. I found out later that they were wrong about the meaning of the test results. Shortly afterward, I got a letter from my insurance company telling me his office had dropped me and other patients who had insurance through the Affordable Health Care Act. In my opinion this guy should… not be a doctor. In my opinion he is dangerously incompetent and seems to have a contempt for poor people.
