Dr. Jose Ramon Cepeda, MD

I was told to check in to the ER by KS Surgical Consultants, and have them page their on call doctor. I unfortunately ended up with Dr. Cepeda as the ER doctor that day. He absolutely refused to, and even stated to me that he had been practicing medicine for a while and didnt need a surgeon to come look at this. That he could handle it. Fast forward to the following monday. Had to check back in to the ER and this time the ER listened and paged the surgeon. Come to find out I did need surgery for a very deep and large abscess that was overlooked by Dr. Cepeda and his great wisdom. If you want to be talked down to, and not treated correctly he is definitely the doctor to see!

I've had a lot of recent visits to the ER for chest pain after a stent was placed in my heart. In addition to the pain I've had a lot of fear and anxiety. All this made me feel like a hypochondriac wasting the doctors time. However, Dr. Cepeda went out of his way to make me feel safe and welcome in the ER. He took the time to listen to me. He even explained something about my heart condition that my own cardiologist didn't explain which brought me a measure of comfort and peace. I found his care to be top notch and I so appreciated his bedside manner in a time where I felt very fragile.

Explained everything to me & made sure I understood before I went home. My migraine was completely gone within hours of returning home. Thank you, doctor!

Makes you feel you you shouldn't have waisted your time to come to ER. This is the the kind of doctor that keeps people from going to ER. When it could be something serious.
