Dr. Jose Davila, MD

I would not recommend him to no One. I mother has been a patient of he’s for many years. He never fellows though. He doesn’t return calls. He’s very arrogant.

I went in to see Dr. Davilla after moving from Texas. I had asked him to run particular tests regarding my thyroid since I have had trouble before, and he was the Dr. that the Sharp experience nurses told me would be perfect for my needs. My first visit, which lasted less than 5 mins, was an introduction to him and several questions about my issues. He then gave me a lab slip and sent me on my way. The next appointment, 3 weeks later, he stared at the computer and gave me my results. And, after crying out of frustration (my hormones are out of whack and he told me nothing was wrong- though he did not order all of the tests I knew he needed) he told me that I am experiencing some of my issues because of lack of proper nutrition and I must not be reporting all foods that I am consuming and that is the reason for weight gain. WOW... I have never been told I am lying about my issues before. After he saw my tears, he promptly left the room... What a doctor.. good job Dr. Davilla. Best… part was the bill I received a few later. Glad I got to pay for inadequate care and, basically, lack of knowledge, bedside manner, etc BTW.. found another MD, that diagnosed me on the spot. She asked questions, looked at previous results, looked at my symptoms and took the time to get it right.

The doctor took the Hippocratic Oath and he should honor it...He should care for his patience - not HMO Insurance...."I will prescribe regimens for the good of my patients according to my ability and my judgment and never do harm to anyone".

We had a horrible experience with this doctor. So much so I joined Google+ just to write a review on this guy. The worst thing is, is that he doesn't listen AT ALL. He asked my husband what was going on and for my husband's entire response all he did was look at the computer screen. He talked over my husband and even prescribed him the wrong medication for his problem. How bad is it when your pharmacist sincerely asks a patient not to take a medication subscribed and to look for a second opinion?! Please, do not go to him!

I have seen Dr. Davila for a year now, for all of my medical needs. I am very satisfied with the the excellent treatment he has provided this past year. During my treatment for an undisclosed medical diagnosis, he put me on a medication regimen for "Prevention", and within a month discontinued the medication due to the medication affecting my liver. Dr. Davila also referred me for on-going lab work after he took me off the medication. Dr. Davila's diligence and concise work, resulted in negative findings for the medical condition I had been diagnosed with. Dr. Davila's on-going medical care and on-going scheduled follow-ups has proven, that he is an excellent physician and my "Guardian Angel".
