Dr. Jose P Fernandez, MD

Dr. Fernandez was very through in delving into my past history . He didn’t rush me through in 15 minutes. Like most specialists. Very caring of me as a patient and a human being.Most specialist never question your past and rush you through like a cattle call. I’m very proud to call him my Doctor.

Dr. Fernandez was excellent with assisting me with my father which has just moved to this area. My father has had an ongoing disease for several years. Dr. Fernandez has assisted me with treating his conditions in a very respectful manner.

really easy to schedule appointment. he had to look at computer throughout my visit, but what doctor does not do that anymore. he took care of my problem and answered all my questions. i had some questions later and he answered those as well. someone was probably mad because he took so much time with me.

I don't know if I caught him on a bad day or what, but I was disappointed with my visit to this doctor. It was my first visit with him: I recently moved to this area--I have been treated for this condition for over a year now.He was running 45 minutes late. Overall, I thought he communicated poorly and was not conscientious and thorough in treating a new patient with a long-term health issue.He spent most of the visit looking at the computer screen, asking me questions based on what was on the screen. He barely looked at me or made eye contact with me. He did not try to get a summary of my past experience with the condition or past treatment of it.

guess I caught him on a bad day.

I feel so blessed to have him as my neurologist.
