Seems to be about the money

posted moments ago I had a standard visit with the Dr., after a lengthy wait. He recommended a support for my back, which they fitted me with before I left the office. They DID NOT tell me the cost of this item. I later found it on the internet for under $300. They charged my insurance $1700 of which $1100 was my out of pocket portion. Do not let them do this to you. I would have told them to keep the item rather than spend $300 on it much less $1100. They also have a hard time with setting up out of clinic appointments. It took 3 weeks for an MRI appointment and I waited over 2 weeks for a treatment appointment before I changed Dr.'s. The new Dr. scheduled the treatment while I was in his office, within a whopping 30 minutes. Do not use NE LA Ortho clinic if you expect to be helped within a reasonable time frame. Do yourself a favor and go to a different clinic even if it is in another town.

I had what I felt was a minor problem. This guy walks in, says hello...never touched me and told me my ONLY option was surgery on my neck. What the .....?
