Dr. Jose Ramon Foradada III, MD

Please BEWARE that this doctor IS NOT taking proper covid precautions. Though the office waiting area has chairs marked with spaces seating and staff are wearing mask, Dr. Foradada entered my 1 year old daughter's appointment with NO MASK and said the CDC 'cannot get their numbers straight', that there is no need to take any special precautions, that covid is 'the same as the flu', and is unaware of how to interpret basic CDC data and is regurgitating incorrect statistics. If you have any desire to protect your children from blantant reckless danger than avoid this doctor at all costs. People look to medical professionals for guidance on these things and he is pushing a false agenda and endangering the lives of his patients and staff.

When I moved to Florida; I was referred to Dr. Foradada. My daughter was six years old; and had been followed by multiple doctors since the age of two for emotional/behavioral issues. Due to her young age; her diagnosis’s kept changing. I can’t express enough how grateful I am to have found Dr. Foradada. He is an amazing doctor who took the time to listen to everything that was going on with my daughter; and truly cared. As she got older and things were getting more difficult; he knew what would most likely be coming next for her in the future and would prepare me for it. As much as I didn’t want to believe it; he was always right. He took the time every visit to talk to her; listen and guide her in such a way that she would even say he was like a father to her. In addition; he also treated my youngest daughter with the same level of care. He listened to me with compassion; and was always real which helped me more than I could ever say. I have nothing but great things to say… to anyone about this doctor; and have referred several other people to him that feel the same as I do.

I gave this place a one because of office staff. I am not sure if I spoke to office manager or front desk. His office has a missed appointment policy that they don't share when scheduling appointments. I couldn't remember my child's appointment date and other offices normally call or email appointment reminders. I never received one and was told because I schedule less than a week before that was my confirmation and they had a waiting list. I Understand missing my appointment was my responsibility what I don't agree with is charging $325 fee and not receiving a phone or email prior to appointment. How is there a waiting list but I was able to call as a new patient appointment on a Thursday at 3:50pm and schedule for the following week? And I was told that she could make appointments for my other 2 children Nov 7th. If there is a wait list then a call should have been made to the next in line, right? When I asked if they can do anything to work with me I was told no. Not okay let me… check with the doctor being it is his policy. Most offices give FRIENDLY REMINDER calls or emails to patients. I didn't receive one because she said it was made less than a week notice. This policy should be looked into by the doctor.

My son started seeing Dr. F when he was very young, elementary school, diagnosed with OCD and other issues. Over time, elementary to middle, middle to high school, Dr. F worked with him, adjusting his medication but only after evaluating him physically, emotionally and a great deal of talk with him personally several times a year. When we started working with him, my son would not wear socks, would not put on new clothes until his older ones were shredded, etc., the usual I am told with OCD/SID children. But here's the rest of the story: My son graduated from HS (Plant) with straight A's, every year, every class, top 10%, not a single referral. Throughout high school he participated in athletics (hockey), tutored students in his grade, and did charity work with Metro Ministries and our church. Got his 'community service hours' done in 9th grade, and kept doing it. He is now at UF, Honors College, Engineering. The stress in his second year has led to a need to… adjust his medication, and Dr. F (although my son only sees him now a few times a year) responded immediately to our request to consult, calling back the day we called, after hours, and speaking with both me and his mother, putting our mind at ease and reminding us that we need to stay alert, but not to move too fast: evaluate, discuss, follow a plan. He's simply an excellent doctor, and a partner to parents, and an advocate for the child. Yes, he gave us some "straight talk" on how to keep our son on the right path at times when we needed to hear that a child needs support, but also needs to be raised to deal with the real world, and that requires adjustments on the part of sometimes-too-hands on parents. My son would not be the man he is today without Dr. F. I've read some of the negative reviews, mostly about staff. Here's the deal: he's not running a drive-through window, and however long his staff takes to get it done, that's OK: they get it done right. He's got just the right balance, in my view, and is a tremendous human being on top of it all.

Terrible, one word is enough

My mom said i was Hyper and because Dr Jose Foradada and his care, I am a student of Berklee College of Music, Responsible, and Passionate about my music, JUst want to say thank you for always be so kind to me and my mom, You Rock my Life.

Overall awesome staff..Love every single employee...Great job and keep up the good work.

just plain terrible. If you want your child to get the best care then take him to a real caring , competent and knowlegeable doctor

After six years of my child taking meds. The doctor went on vacation and said my child didn't need their medicine because school was out and he wouldn't have withdrawals. Wrong.. My child has adhd and went through withdraws and could not focus and saw things that weren't there. and they didn't care. His office staff is rude and unprofessional. This doctor just signs my kids referrals and has never seen him.
