Dr. Jose Garcia Soto

I first went to an ear, nose, and throat doctor, because I did not want to go to a hearing aid salesman. That is why I went to Mid-Kansas ENT. There I saw Dr Gabriel O. De La Garza, He tested me and sent me to the VA to get a referral for a cochlear implant. I got the referral and was scheduled to see Dr. Jose Garcia-Soto, who turned out to be a hearing aid salesman. On Sept 5, 2025, My wife and I went to see Dr. Jose Garcia-Soto, to get an evaluation for a cochlear implant and from the time I first sat down in his office till the time I left, I listened to him give me a sales speech about his hearing aids, and how great and superior his hearing aids are and that he would sell me his hearing aids. Every time when he talked about his hearing aids it was always “my hearing aids”, it gave me the impression that he own the company that made his hearing aids. During the time of his sales pitch we took a little break (about 5 minutes) to test my ears. Dr. Garcia-Soto rated my hearing… 20% better than any one else. He also did not like the VA hearing aids, they needed and update and something else was wrong with them. When he gave my VA hearing aids back to me the left one was not working right, maybe that was what he was talking about. I told him that I was not going to buy his hearing aids, so he said to have the volume of the VA hearings aids turned up as loud as I could stand it and to learn how to read lips.
