Very attentive and connected with my son immediately. Ordered testing that gave solutions and recommendation regarding existing condition. Very much appreciated his time and expertise.

My daughter has been a patient of Dr. Garzas for over 10 years. Our family cannot give him enough praise and thanks for all he has done for us. He’s a brilliant physician with a wonderful bedside matter. My daughter who is in college looks forward to seeing him every chance she gets. Thank you Dr Garza for all you have done for our family.

Dr Garza is a 10/10. My child was heard and respected during our visit. The doctor was very kind and answered all of my questions. Every single staff member I spoke with were extremely knowledgeable and kind to us. We got a clear understanding of my child’s condition and a plan to fix it. Dr. Garza explained the plan with my child, obtaining consent.

DO NOT SEE DR. GARZA! He contradicted himself on the manometry test. Our special needs child was dying and he said get some carafate & Prilosec and see me in 3 months. STAY AWAY!

Dr. Garza and his nurse practitioner misdiagnosed my child with psychological issues and ignored the multiple medical issues she was having that have since been identified and treated. The presentation was smooth, but I could tell within ten minutes of meeting the nurse practitioner that she was going to say my daughter’s issues were psychological and it appeared that she was very used to giving this diagnosis. Dr. Garza suggested my daughter stop her symptoms as his “treatment” and suggested she seek therapy to fix the problem. They were not interested in her medical history and dismissed the medical issues that ultimately were causing her symptoms even though we brought them up. It appeared that his standard advice is that the problem is psychological. If your child is so sick that he or she needs a specialist, it is more than psychology. Keep seeking help until you find it. If you want a doctor who treats medical problems with medicine, you may want to keep searching.

Dr. Garza was very thorough and caring

Dr. Garza is knowledgeable about his field. He lacks empathy and bedside manner. He didn’t give us details on a three day painful test we should’ve been prepared for. He said when my daughter was nauseous and sick that she needed to “go to her happy place in her mind”. My heart broke for my daughter that has physically struggled her entire life had to be treated so coldly by him.

Dr Garza refused to acknowledge serious medical symptoms or order diagnostic testing - instead tried (especially through his arrogant PAs - to convince us the issues were psychological. We wasted precious time following his advice to the detriment of our child only to find a more competent physician who recognized and began to treat the situation

Very happy with his medical plan for my child. I feel very confident in his medical opinions.
