Dr. Jose Ignacio Gonzalez, MD

Dr. Gonzalez is friendly and keeps happy doggies in his office. He seems to be kind and patient and tries hard to assist you. First Visit. Second visit - be warned - he also has a very short temper and loses it quickly and doesn't want discussion about a problem. I evidently stepped on his toes and asked too many questions he couldn't help me with. He was impatient and seemed to just brush me off as he was headed to his next patient. I mentioned that to his nurse and when I was waiting for my next appointment schedule, he called me into his office and immediately told me to not speak and proceeded to lose his temper. When I tried to explain, he shut me up and almost closed the door in my face. I probably did annoy him, but not to that extent. I would suggest walking on egg shells with this man - I don't know that I was the only problem but just in case - be careful. Oh, by the way I am 80 yrs old and semi invalid and have other health problems.

He was a good dr., but found he does not practice in any hospital. He is fairly knowledgeable, and his personality is very good. I went to him for a few years, but when I found he does not cont. his care in a hospital, I switched to a cardiologist who does.

Dr Gonzalez is excellent! He is personable and always interested in not only your heart health but your life style, occupation, interests and family. His staff is also excellent--including his "guard dog" cocker spaniels that are always around the offices. Very warm, caring environment, and excellent professionalism and skills. Highly recommended!

this doctor, unlike many, is very caring and joyful. always has a smile ready to greet you. i would love to see more like him. he listens intently and has immediate response to your issues and condition.
