Dr. Jose Manuel Leon, MD

Dr. Leon is an exceptional doctor! He was my pediatrician many, many years ago and was my children’s pediatrician. We moved six hours away and have not found a doctor that compares to him. I have actually considered driving 6 hours, each way to see him! I realize that sounds crazy but that should explain how wonderful he is.

When I went to see this Dr. My expectations were very high based on the overall rating on this website but after experiencing first hand I can only say the Doctor is great and does take his time with children but unfortunately his staff are not, and that make his reputation a bad one since the experience as a whole left much to be desired. I can only say that majority of the reviews are probably from his own office because it is near impossible his rating is higher than a 2 star and that is being generous.

It is Ridiculous !!!!!!!!Dr, Leon is a great person ; HOWEVER, DO NOT GO THERE, unless you want to wait for nearly 3 hours. The ladies in the office have not compassion for your time. They skip your appt and will attend someone else that comes WAY AFTER you. Is is not acceptable.

Dr Jose Leon is EXCELLENT but his assistant is very unprofessional and untrustworthy.

Dr. Leon is great., but the lady in charge or the administrator and the remaining of the staff are very unprofessional. I scheduled appointment for my son and can’t make for a specific reason. I called to informed them to reschedule, the lady in charge is forcing me to make it to the appointment or else the office will charge me $25. After the same lady harassed me in my last appointment to make that appointment because they have not seen my son often. It’s because there is no need for him to be seen unless he is sick or for wellness visit. Anyways I am getting tired of this office, it’s getting worse by the day. I used to love this office back then. Now the greed and the unprofessionalism is real.

This office is not well managed and unorganized. Dr. is great but staff is rude and unprofessional. Check their google reviews and you will see their true reviews. Please change office staff and office manager.

When I first started going I loved this office. With my second child my daughter got sick at 3 months and I brought her back 3 times trying to figure out what was wrong. I was told it was just viral. A day later she started running a high fever I called to bring her in they wouldn’t take her. I will note this was the day before New Year’s and everyone was eager to leave early! They said to just give her Tylenol. Again she was only 3 months. Trusting my mothers instinct I took her to the emergency room and it turned out she was rushed to a pediatric ICU for bacterial meningitis. She was hospitalized for 21 days. Thankfully she has made a full recovery however, when she was admitted I contacted his office and he never checked on her nor did I ever hear from him again. I would not take a chance with your child knowing what I went through!

Dr. Leon is the best, I have worked in the medical field for 36 years I know a great doctor when I see one! My kids who are now in college have seen him their entire lives and now my grandson is a patient. He is kind and compassionate. I loved how his treatment of my kids changed as they grew teaching them life lessons along the way. Be good to mommy right up to how important it is to get a great education! In my opinion there is no other choice but Dr. Leon.

I recently moved to Jupiter and because of the distance had to switch Doctors...(What a nightmare)! I now drive 1 hour to see Dr. Leon, my kids deserve the BEST!
