Dr. Jose Miguel Lopez, MD

Dr Lopez started as my primary doctor, now he takes care of my father, mother and step-father. He listens to your every concern, he takes the time to explain what the diagnoses consists on, what to do about it and he follows up on it. He has a lot of experience and is always on target. I like that he speaks my language (Spanish) and he understand a lot of behaviors of my culture. I do not have to over explain myself and he has a great attitude and disposition. If you are not working towards you well-being he will make sure to tell you; trust his opinion on it. I highly recommend this doctor, he will become a staple on your family's healthcare... you'll see.

My parents have been seeing Dr. Lopez for a few years. At first, he seemed like an honest and caring doctor except for his dislike for overweight people. He makes rude and insensitive comments about your weight. We were willing to overlook this aspect of Dr. Lopez lack of professionalism. However, what prompted me to write this review was what occurred at our last visit. My mother is not overweight so this was not as to that. We were there for a regular visit. My mother complained of pain in different parts of the body and he proceeded to imply that she was exaggerating and furthermore stated that the pain comes with age!!. This sort of treatment toward patients is completely unprofessional, offensive and rude. Totally unacceptable. He did not change his attitude towards my mother until he saw how upset she was. She was crying!! Perhaps he was trying to make light of the situation and thinks his "comments/jokes" are funny. Well they are not. Needless to say, my mother… will not be returning to this office.

This is the best doctor ever!

Dr. Lopez has been my doctor for almostthree years. He is a very caring and very easy to talk to. He will spend as much time with his patient as needed byeach. I highly recomend him to anyonesearching for a very compassionate andcaring physician.
