Dr. Jose Manuel Mandry, MD

Doctor is ok, but staff rude and unprofessional. Called multiple times to schedule an appointment and the lady at the phone Michelle was super rude for no reason. Never had that problem at any doctor office I’ve been before. What’s worst is that I can read in the reviews that this has been happening for years and they don’t do nothing about it. Doctor you need to change your staff ASAP because not everyone tolerates the disrepect!!!!!

After paying a $167 co-pay, I was turned down for treatment by Dr. Mandry because he didn't have experience with my condition. This was not conveyed to me by his office ahead of time. I recently relocated to Central Florida, and have been on the same medications for 20 years. He gave me a 'courtesy' 1 month prescription refill to give me time to find a new Endocrinologist who will charge me another $167 for an appointment.

It is very important that patients beware this dr's office is understaffed and his Medical assistants are extremely unprofessional. As a care coordinator for one of the many patients I meet, they are not staffed with adequate individuals to carry out the functions needed to coordinate care and my patient has found herself a new specialist. While the MD is very talented , he has hired unprofessional medical assistants and office representatives . Beware ! If you send your loved ones here they may be treated with less than the urgency they rightfully deserve. Staffing is a major issue here.

New patient appointment with Dr. Mandry went horribly wrong. I almost got up and left as I was shaking my head in disbelief at how he was treating me when he only just met me moments before. He was rude, arrogant, didn’t show any concern for me or my problem, and told me it was all in my head. This know-it-all jerk of a doctor needs to get some people skills and know how to treat sick patients. Maybe one day he will be sick and have someone treat him like he treated me and it will be an eye opener to him. I would avoid this doctor at all costs. No wonder it was easy to get a new patient appointment.

Okay first of all let me apologize for my rant. My husband who I have known for more than 30 years was so upset he could hardly speak. He went to an endocrinologist for the first time. This doctor was a donkey (you know what I mean) to him. He walked in the room with such an attitude. He does not even know Mike or anything about his life. After being belittled and basically told he didn't know anything Mike got up and handed him the chipboard he was working on and left. He told Mike...fine you won't be around much longer anyway. This doctor 's name is Mandry. He needs a new career. Doctor's are supposed to be helpful not hurtful. I hope he enjoys his $45.00 copay. DONE!8

I have taken my daughter to see Dr. Mandry for 4 years and he is wonderful. My daughter is a minor and he is great with children. He spends the time with me and explains things in detail. He is a rare doctor who doesn't try to rush you out of his office. His staff are always smiling and a pleasure to deal with. We drive two hours one way to come and see him and he is worth the trip. He researches problems with you and finds solutions. I would and do highly recommend him to anyone.

I have been seeing Dr. Mandry for over 10 years. I like him and his staff so much that I drive over from Tampa once a year to see him. He is always respectful, kind and thorough. I would recommend him highly to anyone who lives in Central Florida.

The doctor is pleasant and generally courteous. Staff assistant Michelle is extremely rude does not have The personality needed of one dealing with sick Patients! If no patients no money, no job. Doctor attend to your staff.

He was rude, and completely missed the diagnosis. An Ob/Gyn listened and ran the tests we asked for and found the pituitary tumor...now we can get on the road to a healthy life!!! Five stars for the Ob/Gyn!!!!!
