Dr. Jose Manuel Marcal JR., MD

Dr. Marcal was kind and knowledgeable. I have seen him for many colonoscopies and recently an office visit. He took a lot of time with my and had patience. He ordered tests, reassured me and followed up with results. His office also called to follow up and he answer my questions on the portal. I have a had a positive experience at every interaction.

I have been his patient for a very long time (over 20 years). He is usually pleasant and cheerful. The last time I saw him he was grumpy and got me agitated before my colonoscopy. I also felt like I was rushed after the procedure to get dressed and get out. My ride was already called before I even woke up! I felt like I was in a factory on the assembly line and pushed out as fast as possible. I was unconscious this time (which I have never been before with him) and never saw him after the procedure. Very disappointed this time and will be seeking another doctor for my next procedure in 2 years.

I have been a patient of Dr. Marcal for many years. He has always been professional , caring and accurate in his diagnoses. I would recommend him to anyone who has gastro- intestinal problems.

After only doing a colonoscopy, Dr. Marcal failed to follow through with any other tests to find out the cause of my symptoms.

The other reviewer are correct. Time to hit the road.

Doesn’t follow through. Takes weeks before u hear from him. At that point u could be dead. He needs to retire

Keeps telling me to do the same thing. “Call me in 3months”what kind of a diagnosis is that.

Been seeing this dr.for over two yrs. never got an answer to my problem. Time for him to retire.

This Dr. Is pleasant. But he tells u one thing the next time u see him he tells u something else. Time to pack it up. Getting to old.
