Austin Retina, and specifically Dr. Martinez, are outstanding! I first saw Dr. Martinez a year ago with a torn retina. He performed an in-office laser repair that took about five minutes. Today, my retina is still stable, and all floaters are gone! Terrific support staff as well. They are all professional and, like Dr. Martinez, are friendly, caring, and personable. Dr. Martinez and his staff are an excellent example of what is accomplished when someone combines innate talent with hard work and dedication to achieve a highest level of skill and care. They have my utmost gratitude!

Dr. Martinez is outstanding. He is very knowledgeable about macular degeneration and is always up to date on the latest diagnoses and treatments. Moreover, he is easy to communicate with. His practice always employs the latest technology.

Dr. Martinez and his staff absolutely saved my vision, and for that I will always be most grateful to them. I was referred to Dr. Martinez by my ophthalmologist over 2 years ago, and they were willing to work me into their schedule in less than 24 hours. I had the opportunity to be seen by Dr. Martinez recently on short notice. My issue was identified in Virginia, and needed a follow-up with a professional specializing in the retina. Since I had to immediately travel to Texas for private business, Dr. Martinez kindly volunteered to work me into his schedule. When I arrived at the office, the staff could not have been nicer, welcoming me and helping me as a new patient. The visit was highly efficient, cordial and professional throughout. Dr. Martinez's care is excellent he has positive attitude and caring concern & a great personality. He is very professional and extremely knowledgeable. I wish all my doctors would have his personality & he makes me wish I could be more like him. He takes time to answer question & does not make you feel rushed from the very first appointment through follow-ups. His office is efficient and I never had to wait more than 5 minutes to get in to see the doctor. He performed surgery on both my eyes for bad floaters and the whole experience was flawless. Eye surgery is very scary like any surgery is & it was very stressful in fact I was terrified I could lose my eye sight. I had my annual retina checkup with Dr. Martinez this morning. I have been seeing him for about 5 years, always a good experience but typically taking over 2 hours due to all the tests and various steps involved. Today was exceptionally fast - 45 minutes in and out! I was amazed. The Austin Retina staff has been working to be more efficient and their efforts have really paid off.
