A rock has more compassion than him. My mom was taken to the hospital due to major bleeding and was found to have stage 4A bladder cancer. (She would be hospitalized 4 different times in the span of 5 months and the other times she was in a care facility) I was her health POA. During one of my mom's hospitalizations I had to push for 3 days to get my mom tested for a U T I. And she did have one, which they should not have been surprised because at the beginning of her hospitalization she was being treated for the same type of infection. During her next to last hospital stay we had a meeting and he and palliative wanted to pull her N G tube against her wishes, she was absorbing all her food. So I pushed for the g tube. She was stabilized and was in a care facility for 3 weeks. She had to go back to the hospital for tachycardia and infection. The next day Dr. Mondesi called and says "I told you this would happen." Besides advanced cancer her last CT showed a rt hip fracture and he… never told me about the fracture. For the last 3 days of her life I couldn't touch her and didn't know why it wasn't until after she passed her records were posted on my chart and I learned about the fracture and her pelvis wasn't much better.
