Dr. Jose Gabriel Alunan Ongsingco, MD

I am shocked to see these very negative comments about Dr. Ongsingco. I have been a patient of his for several years now and most of the time he is very kind and listens. He has only been abrupt with me a couple of times in all of the years I've seen him. Perhaps he has been under some extra stress during these times. Doctors are human too. His nurse is wonderful and most of the staff at this office are great, too. Again, in all of the years I've been going to this office I've had very few experiences I could consider negative in any way and those may have been related to how busy the office was that day, or something else patients are unaware of. I have seen two other doctors at this practice and those experiences were also good.

He didn't seem like he had time for me. I was trying to tell him. I broke my back years ago. It was hurting. All he said was can't do anything about it. See you in 6 months. I need a mobility evaluation.i wrote some questions down and he just gave it back to me. I had a shoke . my left side is weak and numb. This time he was trying to get rid of me. I have to have hermia surgery. He finally got me an appointments with a surgery. The Hermia is hurting my breathing

after losing 4 family members and a wife associated with COPD Complications this Doctor has the nerve to think he knows it all. I would never allow him to treat a family member of mine. He was rude, disrespectful and downright ugly to me. As a attending physician at St Francis I will never allow myself to be taken to St Francis and will discourage any and all family and friends from going there. My girlfriend was admitted for breathing problems Saturday for a overnight observation. This doctor decides to keep her another night and after telling him it was not needed he went off on me with disrespect and then ignored me when asked questions. My girlfriend was even offended. He is a disgrace to practicing medicine. Never is it okay to be disrespectful by a doctor as he was. I am moving this complaint to the medical board as a Retired first line responder, ex police officer, and ex military I am appalled at this doctor, honestly it was all I could do to keep from knocking his block off,… That's my take on this doctor and I have never left a review on anyone like this.

Dr. O is knowledgeable, extremely patient, and helpful. He does an superb job of explaining medical issues, insurance, and he has a good bedside manner. He also follows your care when you're hospitalized.
