Dr Ortiz listens more than any dr I’ve been to. I’m honestly so grateful for him.

The staff was very pleasant and helpful, and most certainly not rude. But the very best is the respect I received from Dr. Ortiz. He takes the time necessary to be fully informed of my needs, which were complicated. I trust Dr. Ortiz to get healed from diabetes.

Stay away from this place! I was booked with the wrong Dr. and when I inquired why I was given an excuse then told that 'Dr. Hood has decided to terminate the patient Dr relationship!' Sue, the office manager was rude and pure mean! Stay away from this place that does not respect a patient's time. I sat there for 2 hours before the NP came in. This place is really bad so stay far far away from there!

Dr. Ortiz is a wonderful man as well as doctor. He takes the time to listen to and get to know his patients. Additionally, he goes out of his way to help by finding coupons and less expensive ways of doing things. He really knows what he's doing and he does it well.

The office acts like it is your fault you need refills, and when its time to schedule an appointment good luck. They will change it and just send you a note, when you call and say you cant at that time, they don't care. Nor do they try to help.

I have been a patient of Dr. Ortiz since 2002. I have found this doctor to be very thorough and caring. I have done well with my diabetes diagnosis because of his medical and endocrinologist knowledge. The staff is very friendly and helpful and they all work together for the good of the patients. Thanks to all of them the patients benefit from their knowledge and care.

Top notch doctor who really knows his field. My insurance doesn't include him in network but I pay cash to see him anyway because I have such respect for him. Also, the staff is very accommodating and responsive to needs and changes. Highly recommend this practice.

Dr. Ortiz had no bedside manner and no motivation to help me figure out a diagnosis for me. He gave me lazy answers and showed no compassion.

I went to him several years ago. I didn't like him or his staff. It seems he has not changed. He would never listen to anything I was concerned about. The medicine he gave me made me sicker, I thought he is the doctor, took the medicine for 9 months. Never got better till, I decided that I know me better than he knows me. Stop him and stopped the meds, will NEVER go to him again.

When a doctor refuses to ok a prescription refil for diabetic test strips, he does not care about his patient!
