Dr. Jose Antonio Pando, MD

Jennifer was great so this review doesn't reflect her. She was great and gave some very helpful tips and really seemed to care. Unfortunately, their policy was for me to see Dr. Pando about six weeks later. He completely dismissed me. He called me fat and said I'm too young to have the autoimmune diseases I have. I have three doctors who have diagnosed me (primary, endocrinologist and neurologist) and they wanted me to see a rheumatologist to help manage my illnesses and the symptoms. After completely dismissing me, he said without any testing or even reading my files that I'm too young and he won't see me again, and now they won't even let me continue to see Jennifer either. This place is a joke. If you can see Jennifer, you're in good hands. If you want to be insulted and dismissed, by all means see Dr. Pando.

Dr Pando is a concerned and interested care giver. He listens to my issues and uses those issues to guide his treatment. No preconceived, cookie cutter treatment.

I have been a patient for four years. In that time my disease and labs have fluctuated often. Most recently, a very expensive bloodtest placed the disease at moderate levels of activity. This last visit, I was told my pain was psychosomatic, though I have been diagnosed with RA for over twenty years. Only I can judge the amount of pain I feel, and lab work isn't everything. Treat the patient, not the bloodwork!

Dr. Pando is always caring and professional. So is most of his staff and his Wife. Recently finished a group session, and it was enjoyable. Very informative and helpful. He gets you to explore different options for your situation and wants to help reduce your stress level, and help with your overall health. I have been going to him for over well over 20 years and am very satisfied. I will recommend him.

Zero compassion for his patients in chronic pain, dismissive, ridiculed me for feeling depressed/suicidal because of loss of mobility and constant pain, he acts bored with complaints. I found it far preferable to work with PAs for the past 10 years.

I felt rushed, after suffering from my symptoms for years and blood tests that say something is wrong, he tells me ‘everything is normal’ while YAWNING numerous times. He spent MAYBE 5 MINUTES with me. I left his office ready to cry.

Dr.Pando is a great doctor, and he is excellent with children. My 5yr old absolutely LOVES him.

Forgot to order main blood test twice! Arrogant

I have complained of chronic pain in legs and feet, nothing done about it...was pretty much blown off...saw his PA who diagnosed me with something, then during next visit stated I didn't have that, that I was wrong, even tho I had paper from previous visit showing that she diagnosed me with that...can never seem to get a straight answer from anybody about what I am actually diagnosed with, but suffering in the meantime with zero relief from this office...have gone to another Physician...

Have been patient for about 10 years. He will spent with you all the time you need. Explains test results.
