Dr. Jose Alberto Ramirez, MD

I just wanted to update my past review. Not only did Dr. Ramirez leave me to die with an abscess in my esophagus, now a few years later I have seen a GI specialist after continued problems, and it was found that the surgery bypass that Mr. Ramirez performed on me was not done well and was a stapled mess that was placed too high. I had the surgery redone last month by a real surgeon and I now feel wonderful. Again, if you are thinking of having this man, who seems to move from office to office a whole lot, perform ANYTHING on you, I would think twice.

His man performed a stomach surgery on me. In the process he punctured by esophegus. I was in the hospital for eight days. He couldn't figure out what was wrong with me. I couldn't talk, had a fever and had a lot of pain. He sent me home, saying I had strep throat. I went to another hospital where they performed emergency surgery to save me from the abscess that had formed over my esophagus. The next six months were more of a nightmare. And Dr. Ramirez never appologized, followed up, just plain old didn't care that my kids would not have a mom if I had just gone home and died on my couch thanks to him. Good luck if you choose this man to perform anything on you.
