Dr. Jose E Ribo

I read through reviews a lot.I had a very bad experience years ago getting extractions at another dentist for a lower partial.Was a traumatic experience.I have not said one thing about it to Dr.Ribo,he's been kind and patient,honest.He is informative.I have a long way to go, getting dentures,many extractions to come,and I will update as I go through,so far he's been professional,fair,honest,and informative.Someone mentioned something negative about his office.No it's not the typical looking office, and was clean and to me homelike.Didnt smell.Lots of plants and interesting.Hes not been rude and if anything just honest.I also seen where someone complained about him taking off on a Weds not coming back til a Monday,Well Drs are human too,things happen they have to be away.Will be updating as we go.So far so good.As for children on my first visit,seen a few go back and all seemed well.Even seen the same teenager there twice,all seemed well. I dunno,he took X-rays and was patient with me… when the "apperatis"he had me bite down on for the xray slipped a few times and he had to walk back and replace it.

I can not believe that this person is an actual board certified dentist. If the Board of DDS knew of his erratic behavior i'm sure it would be heavily frowned upon. his billing person must be of relation to him because i don't see anyone wanting to work for him let alone with him.

I was afraid to go to my appointment today because it has been a very long time since Ive been to any dentist. I was sceduled for a cleaning and possible extraction. When i got into the chair, he was very friendly. Left it up to me if i wanted to go ahead and get teeth pulled today. I decided to go ahead and get it over with. I kid you not he had 4 teeth pulled in less than 15 minutes. There were 3 teeth that i wassure i would need surgery to remove, but he was very skilled and pulled them. Its been about 4 hours, im still in no pain or discomfort and never experienced any serious pain or discomfort during the procedure. Dr. Ribo will always have my familys business. He was so friendly, very comforting and his nurse is also. Super nice and talked with me like a friend instead of just another patient in the chair. He knew i was afraid and wanted it to be over with and worked fast and efficiently. I will be recommending him to everyone I know! I am so grateful to him because i have… experienced constant pain for years with my teeth and in 10 minutes he got rid of it all. Any slight discomfort i may have wont be anything compared to the pai i had before he took care of me. Thank you Doctor.

When looking for a Dentist I look for a number of things, without going in specifics this man has none of them. Take the time and research his record.. It might surprise you.

I would definitely not allow this man to perform any procedure on anyone I care for.

Awful, just awful. I have panic from dentists and this guy made it worse. He pulled 5 teeth (cause he lied and said he couldn't pull all 10). 3 days later and I am suffering in pain cause he won't even prescribe Ibruprophen. He hasn't even checked to see if it's dry socket. He has lost me and my families business and won't help u when u have valid pain. There is no excuse to leave your patients in pain, one of the worst pains too.....tooth pain. His office smells like pee too.
