Dr. Jose Antonio Rubero, MD

I came to the hospital via Ambulance on a hard board due to a seizure while out shopping. I arrived at the hospital and was left on the hardboard for an hour and 45 minutes before Dr. Rubero graced me with his arrogant presence. My injury had taken place outside on concrete and I was in severe pain, I also had a C-collar on the whole time. I begged and pleaded with the nurses to get me off board. When he arrived, he removed me from board. I had made a sound of discomfort and to that he responded "That will get you no where." Then he abruptly walked away without saying anything but that to me and said to his intern "See how they are." Refused to give me any medication for my pain, but gave me nausea medicine. Then discharged me with naproxen. As I was being wheeled out, I had a seizure which ended me back into a bed. At that point he had first refused to see or speak with me. I spoke with charge nurse, ( the nurse that was discharging me had long nails and as she was… "keeping me from hurting myself" she ended up covering my back with several deep wounds from top of my back to bottom) he finally came back after I mentioned TV and Attorney, He had not been educated of my disease, I had to explain everything to him and begged him to read the paperwork I had given prior about my condition to educate himself. He rolled his eyes the whole time I was speaking and was treating me with a condescending nature. I told him he should be ashamed of his whole attitude. I was treated as if he was too intelligent to even give me the time of day. Avoid him at all cost!
