Dr. Jose Souto-Acero is lead cosmetic dentist and co-founder of Quickbleach Dental Spa. As a cosmetic dentist and as a teacher, he is recognized throughout New York and the nation as a pioneer in the movement toward making dentistry a more relaxing patient experience. With Quickbleach, Dr. Souto-Acero along with his brother Gustavo, launched America’s first Dental “Spa.” Quickbleach is innovative in that it implements soothing shapes, sounds and smells to enhance patient experience. As a New York cosmetic dentist, Dr. Souto-Acero has devoted his practice to gentle patient care, along with state-of-the-art cosmetic dentistry techniques.
Before going into private practice as a cosmetic dentist, Dr. Souto-Acero was Pre-doctoral Clinical Instructor in operative dentistry at NYU College of Dentistry and Chief Resident functioning as instructor and mentor to the residents at Mount Sinai Dental Clinic.
Born in Cuba, Dr. Souto-Acero …graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Biology from The University of Puerto Rico and Magna Cum Laude as Doctor in Dental Medicine at the Medical Sciences Campus of the prestigious University of Puerto Rico Dental School. UPR is fully accredited by the American Dental Association.
Dr. Souto-Acero is licensed and certified by numerous organizations including the State of New York, The Academy of General Dentistry and The National Dental Honor Society.
His contributions to the field as a cosmetic dentist and his devotion to patient care have earned Dr. Souto-Acero the honor of receiving the Quintessence Award for Clinical Achievements in Periodontics. Dr. Souto-Acero has also been featured in numerous media and news outlets including; the Today Show and Eyewitness News on ABC television, The New York Times, New York Magazine, The NY Post, El Diario, Women’s Wear Daily, and The Daily Telegraph (U.K.)
