Horrible care

I took my 16yr old daughter to Dr Torrado for a very large cyst, which he decided was best to watch closely and scheduled her next visit for 4 weeks out! (Hmmmm) 2 weeks later we ended up in the emergency room where she had to have emergency surgery and her fallopian tube had to be removed! During this time I received notice in writing that an employee at the office used my daughters charts/private information for their personal use (Which is in direct breach of the hipaa laws). When I addressed Dr Torrado about this issue he told me there are other doctors in this town that I could take my daughter to, to avoid this type of problem, and that I should think hard about taking this any further because there are not many good doctors in this town and it could destroy his office. Then stated he would lock my daughters records so that only he could view them (a little late at this point). As said employee still sits in her chair to violate other patients privacy! Needless to say I will be… taking my daughter to another daughter and see Jose Torrado in court! Beware ladies Dr Torrado is very smart but he only cares about himself and does not care about his patients!!

Amazing !! Dr Torrado has been my doctor for seventeen years, he is the best.

He clearly does not care about women nor his patients. I was seen here for an ectopic pregnancy, but quickly left and went to another obgyn. He tried telling me I was having a completely normal early pregnancy (which didn’t line up with my menstural cycle, but he insisted because he’s just so well-versed in them, not having had one himself). After my ultrasound, he called me into the office to tell me about the ectopic, when he could have told me over the phone. He just wanted to milk the insurance money, I’m guessing. He had a smirk on his face like he was going to laugh when telling me about my ectopic pregnancy. I was crying, and he was being inconsiderate of my feelings and my fiancé had to speak up for me. I asked him how to prevent this in the future, and he started talking about birth control. He clearly did not have time for me to even listen to the questions I was asking. Please, save yourself the trouble and don’t go here, especially if you want a doctor who is compassionate.

Rude. And seems to hate his job. I'm not sure why hes an obgyn as he clearly doesn't like being one. He should definitely considering switching to a new medical practice.

I found Dr. Torrado to be impatient and not interested in providing a warm or supportive care environment. He was somewhat condescending and didn't get a sense that he enjoys his work. I would not refer this doctor to anyone.

if there was a way i could do 0 stars i would pick that.....i dont usually write reviews not worth my time but dont want this to happen to other people. they dont car about you or the baby i went to the er bc they wouldnt see if and my beta hcg levels were low so they were getting i might m/c so they ordered another blood test and dr torrados office told me they would call me back with the results so i woulnt be stress and i waited all day and i called at 445 which they closed at 5. they picked up and she said she would talk to the nurse and get right back to me.......will 25 mins passed and then an hour i called back but there answering lady that takes messages after hours and said they left well.....they just lost my service and money bc thats all they care about......i had them with my first pregnancy and didnt like them then either sooo people go somewhere else trust me you and your baby deserves better!

Dr. Torrado is an amazing doctor. Very professional. He delivered my first baby and I will thank him forever. He Always cares about the patients needs and all medical procedures make sense when he explains them. :-) I would definitely recommend Dr. Torrado to my family and friends. The office is always clean and his Staff is friendly. Specially the receptionist Sheryll :-) what a doll. Very happy I chose this office. I will never want to change doctors.

Everyone in this office was very pleasant, kind, and supportive. Dr. Torado listened closely and was gentle and kind. He performed a biopsy on the first visit rather than putting it off for another appointment.

Dr. Torrado is the worst gynecologist ever. He refused to look at an ultrasound film I brought with me and insisted on doing his own transvaginal ultrasound. He was brutal when he did it, it was very painful, and I bled afterwards. I also got a UTI afterwards, which he dismissed, until I insisted on a test, which confirmed it. He gave me the wrong diagnosis (he said I had five fibroids, when I only had one, which was clearly visible on the original ultrasound film). A terrible doctor who should not be practicing medicine on women.
